About

Anna Guenther - 200 hour + Registered Yoga Teacher.

As a dedicated yoga teacher and Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner, I am passionate about guiding individuals on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and balance. My teaching style combines Gentle Movement Yoga, while practicing breathing and awareness. I also teach Restorative Yin, where I like to bring pause and stillness to the practice. I enjoy creating classes that are accessible yet empowering for students of all levels.

I discovered yoga in the late 2000’s, when I started my career as a First Responder. Yoga became a way for my body to release tension from the physical stresses of my job. Movement and yoga became a support in managing my depression and anxiety as well as my journey with chronic physical pain. Yoga evolved into a lifelong journey and practice of healing and growth. In 2019, I took my practice to the next level and took my 200+ hours Yoga Teacher Training. My teaching approach is rooted in fostering mindfulness, breath awareness, and alignment, offering tools to help students cultivate strength and peace on and off the mat.

In addition to yoga, my work as a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner and Myofascial release teacher has allowed me to further support holistic well-being. Trained in Thai Yoga Massage at Lotus Palm in Montreal, I specialize in integrating ancient Thai techniques with a modern understanding of anatomy and energy work and movement. This dynamic bodywork practice helps to relieve tension, improve flexibility, and restore balance to the mind and body.

Whether on the mat or through hands-on healing, my mission is to help others find harmony and joy in their unique journeys.

Certifications & Training:

200 plus hour RYT via Pure Living Yoga, Saskatchewan, Yoga Alliance accredited. Thai Head, Foot, and full-body massage certifications via Lotus Palm, Montreal. Myofascial Yoga Tune-Up Ball training via Tune Up Fitness, with the Jill Miller method. I also host yoga and wellness events, retreats, and workshops. I have worked with students of all ages and levels, including youths, adults, seniors, and students with limitations.
